About the Artist

Biography - Sarah Carne

Sarah Carne graduated from Goldsmiths College with an MA in Fine Art and now lives and works in London.

Her films have been shown in galleries and festivals around the world including East End Academy at Whitechapel Gallery, the Edinburgh Film Festival and the BBC Video Alcove. She toured I Love My Yugo, a film watched by the audience whilst travelling in her letraset customised car in London, Manchester and the Liverpool Biennial and is currently working on I love my Yugo, the Musical..

Her Faith Chests continue her interest in the audience as participants, their relationships and how they inhabit specific spaces.
