Gurdwara Sikh Sangat
Historical Text
Built as the congregational Harley Street Chapel in 1854, this building was converted to Mile End and Bow Great Synagogue and Talmud Torah in 1927 and in 1977 it became a Sikh temple, the Gurdwara Sikh Sanghat.

Anna Hart and Lizzie Buckmaster working with Mulberry School for Girls, Year 8 The artwork responds to the festive interior of the Gurdwara and reflects the building's history with the layering of an image of the congregational Sunday School children, a gold Menorah and words from the Japji.
